DALLAS, Dec. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ – Inventus, LLC, a Web hosting and technology solutions provider for major law firms and corporate legal departments, announces the hire of Patrick Zeller as chief strategy officer. Zeller brings more than 15 years of legal industry experience and expertise in data retention, forensic collections and data processing.
“Patrick’s combination of extensive legal and e-discovery experience will contribute to Inventus’ strategic growth in the coming years,” said Trevor Campion, CEO of Inventus. “Patrick’s expertise in retention and collection strategies will further enhance the consultative value we bring to our clients as we manage the discovery process for our core clients.”
Inventus’ year-to-date sales are up 71 percent over the same period last year through the end of November. Inventus attributes the success to expanding sales of discovery solutions and a rapidly expanding online customer base. With data hosting and related services now accounting for over 70 percent of the company’s revenue, Inventus is routinely being asked to manage the full discovery process.
“I am proud to join the executive team at Inventus and very excited about our vision,” said Zeller. “The company is a proven leader in the e-discovery space and has a terrific discovery management platform which is delivering real value to our customer base.”
Prior to joining Inventus, Zeller was the vice president of e-Discovery and deputy general counsel at Guidance Software, where he spent six years consulting clients on all issues related to the discovery process.
Zeller was previously a practicing attorney with Seyfarth Shaw and co-founder of their national e-Discovery practice group. He has spoken at many industry conferences and is well-published in many trade journals. Patrick is also currently a member of the Sedona Conference and teaches an e-Discovery class at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
