Inventus Recognized as Relativity Best in Service Partner and Certified Reseller

Thursday, September 29th, 2011

DALLAS, Sept. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Inventus, LLC, a cloud computing and SaaS provider of e-discovery document review and information management software, has been recognized as a Relativity Best in Service Partner, as well as a Relativity Certified Reseller, by kCura, the developers of the e-discovery platform Relativity.

Relativity Best in Service status is the highest recognition that kCura awards to their Relativity Premium Hosting Partners. The evaluation process includes an audit of a partner’s technical environment and capabilities, volume of data and cases under management, and client references.

“We have had an enormous amount of success and growth through our partnership with kCura and Relativity,” said Trevor Campion, CEO of Inventus. “That success is largely due to our technical expertise in supporting the environment, as well as our practical expertise in customizing it for our clients.”

In June of this year, Inventus launched its proprietary inVerito ECA workflow within Relativity and has seen an almost 100 percent adoption rate from its clients using Relativity.

“The inVerito model is really leveraging the power of Relativity and reducing client review costs by as much as 60 percent,” added Campion.

kCura has also recognized Inventus as a Relativity Certified Reseller, allowing Inventus to license and manage full installations of Relativity. This is providing greater flexibility to Inventus clients in how they choose to access the software.

“Legal teams recognize the value of Relativity, but are now looking for partners that can fully support them on the platform,” said Rod Roberson, Managing Director & General Counsel for Inventus. “Through our new managed service offering, Inventus is now able to provide our clients with all of the functionality of Relativity, without the necessity of a large capital IT investment.”

“Inventus has done a number of progressive things with Relativity, including customizing the technology to offer ECA, and combining their reseller status and infrastructure expertise to provide a managed service offering of our software,” said Andrew Sieja, president and CEO of kCura. “We’re happy to acknowledge their efforts by recognizing Inventus as both a Best in Service partner and a Relativity Certified Reseller.”

ESI Processing & Hosted Review

Thursday, February 25th, 2010

Client: Aerospace design & manufacturing company

Challenges: The legal team had to review close to 1 million documents within four weeks to make a court-ordered production deadline.  And the production specifications required all copies of responsive documents including duplicates.

The Solution: Inventus designed a project workflow that included Clearwell as an ECA and culling tool, Synthetix ND near-duplicate technology, and Relativity as the native review platform.

Benefits: Clearwell allowed a small team to reduce the dataset by close to 90% in 5 days.  Utilizing Synthetix ND to organize and batch documents by their similarity to each other increased the speed of the reviewers by 40%.  The result was a faster review process by an estimated 180 days and a total cost savings of approximately $970,000.
